Next, the Knights encounter the Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 31. Union will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 15-0 record after their 67-42 league win over East Marshall (Le Grand, IA).

The Cougars (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Waukon (Waukon, IA). The Indians come into the non-league test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Waukon beat South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA), 67-59, in a non-league test.
