The Tiftarea Academy Panthers basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Terrell Academy Eagles to 33 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now have a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Valwood for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 game on Friday, January 31. Tiftarea Academy will confront a Valiants team coming off a 63-49 league loss to Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, GA). The Valiants record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Terrell Academy falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Eagles host Brookwood (Thomasville, GA) to confront the Warriors in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 game on Friday, January 31. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 21-2. Brookwood lost 59-35 in their recent non-league game against Florida State University High School (Tallahassee, FL)
