Illinois High School Basketball - Thornton triumphant over Thornridge

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Thornton Wildcats (Harvey, IL) and the visiting Thornridge Falcons (Dolton, IL), observed Thornton's basketball team overwhelm Thornridge by a score of 63-31.

The Wildcats (7-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Grizzlies come into the non-league challenge with a 13-10 record. In their last challenge, Payton College Prep trounced Englewood Stem (Chicago, IL), 51-24, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Corliss Trojans (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Thornridge will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-16 record after their 85-68 league win over Chicago Vocational (Chicago, IL).
