The Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans were victorious over the host TPLS Christian Academy Lions basketball squad by a count of 65-55 in Tuesday's non-league match.
With the victory, Veritas Collegiate Academy advances its record to 10-9 on the year. The Spartans host The Carmel School (Ruther Glen, VA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 12-8.
The Lions now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rise Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. TPLS Christian Academy will face a Guardians squad coming off a 70-69 non-league win over Harrisonburg HomeSchool (Harrisonburg, VA). The Guardians record now stands at 13-5.
