Georgia High School Basketball - Troup County holds off Upson-Lee

The Troup County Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Upson-Lee Knights to 55 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now possess a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity Christian for a AAA Region 2 game on Thursday, January 30. Troup County will face a Lions squad coming off a 79-43 league loss to Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA). The Lions record now stands at 1-17.

The Knights now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to LaGrange for a AAA Region 2 match on Friday, January 31. Upson-Lee will face a Grangers squad coming off a 67-53 league loss to Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA). The Grangers record now stands at 13-8.
