Colorado High School Basketball - Gateway holds off Adams City

The Gateway Olympians basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Adams City Eagles to 57 in the Olympians league triumph on Tuesday.
The Olympians now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Denver Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Gateway will confront a Thunder team coming off a 43-33 league win over Kent Denver (Englewood, CO). The Thunder record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Adams City falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Thornton (Thornton, CO) to confront the Trojans in a game on Thursday, January 30. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 3-10. Thornton won 57-38 in their recent league game against Aurora Central (Aurora, CO)
