Iowa High School Basketball - Algona nips St. Edmond

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Algona Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 64-58 triumph over the St. Edmond Gaels.
The Bulldogs (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Webster City (Webster City, IA). The Lynx go into the non-league contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Webster City nipped Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA), 48-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Gaels battle the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 30. St. Edmond will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Wolverines go into the contest with a 11-5 record after their 49-38 league loss to South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA).
