Delaware High School Basketball - Aquinas Academy nips Avon Grove Charter

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Aquinas Academy Crusaders basketball team scored a close 31-29 win over the Avon Grove Charter Wolves.
The Crusaders (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against West Nottingham (Colora, MD). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, West Nottingham was tipped by Tri-State Christian (Elkton, MD), 40-20, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wolves battle the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Falcon (Kingsville, MD) in a Freelance contest, on Thursday, January 30. Avon Grove Charter will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Falcon come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 53-18 league win over West Nottingham (Colora, MD).
