Virginia High School Basketball - Arcadia knocks off Chincoteague

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Arcadia Firebirds basketball team scored a good 58-45 win over the Chincoteague Ponies.
The Firebirds (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Northampton (Eastville, VA). The Yellowjackets come into the Eastern Shore contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Northampton was topped by Nandua (Onley, VA), 50-23, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Ponies battle the Salisbury Christian (Salisbury, MD) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 29. Chincoteague will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record.
