South Dakota High School Basketball - Baltic succumbs to McCook Central/Montrose

In Tuesday's non-league test, the McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars (Salem, SD) basketball squad defeated the visiting Baltic Bulldogs (Baltic, SD), by a final score of 64-51.

Next, the Fighting Cougars clash with the Canton C-Hawks (Canton, SD) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 30. McCook Central/Montrose will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The C-Hawks come into the test with a 9-4 record after their 45-38 non-league win over Tri-Valley (Colton, SD).

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dell Rapids for a A Region 3 match on Monday, February 3. Baltic will face a Quarriers squad coming off a 60-50 non-league loss to Vermillion (Vermillion, SD). The Quarriers record now stands at 5-11.
