The Drummond Lumberjacks basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Bayfield Trollers to 23 in the Lumberjacks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lumberjacks now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Mellen for a Northern Lights game on Thursday, January 30. Drummond will confront a Granite Diggers team coming off a 55-49 league loss to Butternut (Butternut, WI). The Granite Diggers record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Bayfield falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Trollers travel to South Shore (Port Wing, WI) to confront the Cardinals in a Northern Lights game on Thursday, January 30. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 11-5. South Shore won 49-31 in their recent league game against Mercer (Mercer, WI)
