Kentucky High School Basketball - Betsy Layne fells Breathitt County

The Betsy Layne Bobcats basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Breathitt County Bobcats to 56 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bobcats now have a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Prestonsburg for a District 58 game on Friday, January 31. Betsy Layne will confront a Blackcats team coming off a 69-52 non-league win over Belfry (Belfry, KY). The Blackcats record now stands at 11-10.
With the loss, Breathitt County falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Lee County (Beattyville, KY) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 4-6.
