The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Union Grove Lions (Gladewater, TX) and the visiting Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX), observed Union Grove's basketball team overwhelm Big Sandy by a score of 52-16.

The Lions (18-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX). The Tigers come into the 2A Region III District 21 challenge with a 8-10 record.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Hawkins Hawks (Hawkins, TX) in a 2A Region III District 21 challenge, on Friday, January 31. Big Sandy will attempt to improve on its 3-18 season record.
