In Tuesday's league contest, the host Bishop Kelley Comets basketball team scored a big 76-24 triumph over the Guthrie Bluejays.

The Comets (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Shawnee (Shawnee, OK). The Wolves go into the 5A District 3 contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Shawnee was trounced by Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, OK), 51-33, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bluejays confront the Claremore Zebras (Claremore, OK) in a 5A District 3 contest, on Friday, January 31. Guthrie will attempt to better on its 0-12 season record. The Zebras go into the contest with a 5-14 record after their 43-32 league loss to Collinsville (Collinsville, OK).
