North Carolina High School Basketball - Bishop McGuinness triumphant over Leadership Academy

January 28, 2025: Kernersville, NC 27284

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) and the visiting Leadership Academy Falcons (Kernersville, NC), observed Bishop McGuinness's basketball team overwhelm Leadership Academy by a score of 76-21.

The Villains (15-0) will now prepare for their challenge against College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC). The Royals come into the 1A Northwest Piedmont challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, College Prep & Leadership Academy was routed by Carver (Winston-Salem, NC), 38-26, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons encounter the East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Leadership Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 52-45 non-league loss to Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC).
