The Southampton Academy Raiders basketball squad (Courtland, VA), lost 32-20 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Brunswick Academy Vikings (Lawrenceville, VA)
With the victory, Brunswick Academy advances its record to 11-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Kenston Forest (Blackstone, VA) to meet the Kavaliers in a VISAA Division III battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Kavaliers enter the battle with a record of 4-6.
The Raiders now own a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tidewater Academy for a VISAA Division IV battle on Friday, January 31. Southampton Academy will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 43-34 league loss to Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-8.
