California High School Basketball - Rio Mesa overwhelmed by Buena

In Tuesday's league test, the Buena Bulldogs (Ventura, CA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Rio Mesa Spartans (Oxnard, CA), by a score of 70-26.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Pacifica Tritons (Oxnard, CA) in a Channel test, on Thursday, January 30. Buena will attempt to improve on its 20-4 season record. The Tritons come into the test with a 7-15 record after their 48-30 league loss to Oxnard (Oxnard, CA).

The Spartans (10-14) will now prepare for their test against Ventura (Ventura, CA). The Cougars come into the Channel outing with a 24-1 record. In their last outing, Ventura routed San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA), 70-31, in a league outing.
