The Taylor Ducks basketball squad (Taylor, TX), was nudged 45-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX)

With the victory, Burnet advances its record to 16-14 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Jarrell (Jarrell, TX) to meet the Cougars in a 4A Region III District 24 battle on Friday, January 31. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 26-6. Jarrell won 45-35 in their recent league battle against Lampasas (Lampasas, TX)

The Ducks now own a 11-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marble Falls for a 4A Region III District 24 battle on Friday, January 31. Taylor will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 74-40 league loss to Salado (Salado, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-24.
