The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Zulch Bulldogs (North Zulch, TX) and the visiting Calvert Trojans (Calvert, TX), observed North Zulch's basketball team overwhelm Calvert by a margin of 43-13.

The Bulldogs (5-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Round Top-Carmine (Carmine, TX). The Cubs come into the 1A Region IV District 29 challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Round Top-Carmine trounced Dime Box (Dime Box, TX), 67-33, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Somerville Yeguas (Somerville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Calvert will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record.
