The Cedar Ridge Timberwolves basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Hillcrest Screamin Eagles to 32 in the Timberwolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Timberwolves now possess a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Marshall for a 2A Region 2 game on Friday, January 31. Cedar Ridge will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 66-49 league loss to Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 13-10.

With the loss, Hillcrest falls to 4-18 on the campaign. The Screamin eagles host Earle (Earle, AR) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A Region 3 game on Thursday, January 30. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 20-5. Earle won 79-34 in their recent league game against Armorel (Armorel, AR)
