The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA) and the visiting Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA), observed Walnut Grove's basketball team overcome Cedar Shoals by a margin of 55-40.

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA) in a AAAA Region 8 challenge, on Friday, January 31. Cedar Shoals will attempt to better on its 6-16 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 12-11 record after their 51-38 league loss to Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA).
