The Charlottesville Black Knights basketball team scored 81 points and limited the host Monticello Mustangs to 27 in the Black Knights league triumph on Tuesday.

The Black Knights now possess a 16-2 record. They play next when they travel to Louisa County for a Jefferson game on Friday, January 31. Charlottesville will confront a Lions team coming off a 48-35 non-league loss to J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA). The Lions record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Monticello falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to confront the Flying Flucos in a Jefferson game on Friday, January 31. The Flying Flucos go into the game with a record of 7-11. Fluvanna County lost 46-42 in their recent league game against Orange County (Orange, VA)
