Next, the Cougars clash with the Lorena Leopards (Lorena, TX) in a 4A Region III District 23 test, on Friday, January 31. China Spring will attempt to improve on its 16-15 season record. The Leopards come into the test with a 22-8 record after their 44-32 league win over Connally (Waco, TX).

The Hornets (14-14) will now prepare for their test against Robinson (Robinson, TX). The Rockets come into the 4A Region III District 23 test with a 15-11 record. In their last test, Robinson went down by La Vega (Waco, TX), 75-28, in a league test.
