The Sharks now possess a 17-13 record. They play next when they travel to Tidehaven for a 3A Region IV District 25 game on Friday, January 31. Palacios will confront a Tigers team coming off a 49-38 league loss to Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 30-2.

With the loss, Columbus falls to 18-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Yoakum (Yoakum, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 3A Region IV District 25 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 9-19.
