With the victory, Covenant Christian Academy advances its record to 7-9 on the year. The Lions travel to Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA) to face the Rebels in a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 1-9. Riverside Academy won 2-0 in their recent league match against Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA)

The Tigers now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Catholic for a 1A District 7 match on Friday, January 31. Jeanerette will face a Eagles squad coming off a 66-33 league win over Centerville (Centerville, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 17-7.
