The Crestwood Cadets basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Newman Catholic Knights to 53 in the Cadets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cadets now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Wapsie Valley for a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. Crestwood will confront a Warriors team coming off a 67-57 league win over Oelwein (Oelwein, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Newman Catholic falls to 11-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Friday, January 31. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 0-16. Northwood-Kensett lost 60-26 in their recent non-league game against West Hancock (Britt, IA)
