In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Latta Panthers basketball team scored a close 41-34 win over the Dale Pirates.
The Panthers (17-4) will now prepare for their contest against Stonewall (Stonewall, OK). The Longhorns come into the non-league contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Stonewall edged Maud (Maud, OK), 70-33, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Pirates battle the Fairland Owls (Fairland, OK) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Dale will attempt to better on its 21-2 season record. The Owls come into the contest with a 14-4 record after their 42-26 league win over Colcord (Colcord, OK).
