The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Yuma Criminals (Yuma, AZ) and the visiting Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks (Maricopa, AZ), observed Yuma's basketball team overcome Desert Sunrise by a score of 60-46.

The Criminals (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ). The Dons come into the 4A Black Canyon challenge with a 8-12 record. In their last challenge, Coronado dropped by Cortez (Phoenix, AZ), 51-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Hawks battle the Dysart Demons (El Mirage, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Desert Sunrise will attempt to improve on its 8-13 season record. The Demons come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 55-36 league win over Tempe (Tempe, AZ).
