In Tuesday's league test, the Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME) basketball squad defeated the visiting George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME), by a final score of 45-28.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME) in a C North test, on Thursday, January 30. Dexter will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Golden Bucks come into the test with a 9-5 record after their 73-23 league loss to Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME).
The Eagles (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Deer Isle-Stonington (Deer Isle, ME). The Mariners come into the non-league test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Deer Isle-Stonington overcame Greenville (Greenville, ME), 48-25, in a non-league test.
