In Tuesday's league contest, the host Dover Senators basketball team scored a close 50-49 triumph over the Smyrna Eagles.
The Senators (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Conrad Science (Wilmington, DE). The Red Wolves go into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Ursuline Academy Raiders (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 30. Smyrna will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 7-7 record after their 66-62 non-league loss to Council Rock South (Holland, PA).
