The Maquoketa Valley Wildcats (Delhi, IA) basketball toppled the host Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings (Edgewood, IA), 61-48 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 17-0 record. They play next when they host North Linn for a Tri-Rivers - West bout on Friday, January 31. Maquoketa Valley will play a Lynx team coming off a 64-52 league win over East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA). The Lynx record now stands at 15-1.
With the loss, Edgewood-Colesburg falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Kee (Lansing, IA) to play the Kee Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. The Kee Hawks go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Kee won 54-22 in their recent league bout against Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA)
