In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Riverdale Rams basketball team scored a good 47-29 triumph over the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers.
The Rams (17-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sherrard (Sherrard, IL). The Tigers go into the Three Rivers - West contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, Sherrard topped Orion (Orion, IL), 66-35, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Newman Central Catholic Comets (Sterling, IL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 30. Erie-Prophetstown will attempt to better on its 4-16 season record. The Comets go into the contest with a 19-7 record after their 46-45 non-league win over St. Bede (Peru, IL).
