In Tuesday's league contest, the host Forsyth Country Day Furies basketball team scored a big 63-38 triumph over the High Point Christian Academy Cougars.

The Furies (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC). The Bengals go into the NCISAA Piedmont contest with a 16-9 record. In their last contest, Greensboro Day School was trounced by Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC), 56-52, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Asheville Christian Academy Lions (Swannanoa, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 30. High Point Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 9-9 record after their 67-41 league loss to Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC).
