Texas High School Basketball - Fort Bend Hightower sneaks past Fort Bend Austin

The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs to 39 in the Hurricanes league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hurricanes now possess a 27-5 record. They play next when they travel to Ridge Point for a 6A Region III District 21 game on Friday, January 31. Fort Bend Hightower will play a Panthers team coming off a 73-23 league win over Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 14-16.

With the loss, Fort Bend Austin falls to 20-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX) to play the Broncos in a 6A Region III District 21 game on Friday, January 31.
