The Freedom Irish basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Waupaca Comets to 39 in the Irish league triumph on Tuesday.

The Irish now have a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Fox Valley Lutheran for a North Eastern game on Thursday, January 30. Freedom will confront a Foxes team coming off a 65-21 league win over Little Chute (Little Chute, WI). The Foxes record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Waupaca falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Little Chute (Little Chute, WI) to confront the Mustangs in a North Eastern game on Thursday, January 30. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 0-14. Little Chute lost 52-44 in their recent non-league game against Hilbert (Hilbert, WI)
