The Greyhounds now possess a 10-15 record. They play next when they host Perrin-Whitt for a 1A Region III District 17 game on Friday, January 31. Throckmorton will play a Pirates team coming off a 57-32 league win over Woodson (Woodson, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 14-14.

With the loss, Garner falls to 10-17 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Newcastle (Newcastle, TX) to play the Bobcats in a 1A Region III District 17 game on Friday, January 31. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 19-8. Newcastle won 57-17 in their recent league game against Bryson (Bryson, TX)
