Louisiana High School Basketball - Grant defeats Georgetown

The Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) basketball were winner over the visiting Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, LA), 43-29 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 5-18 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin Parish for a 4A District 2 bout on Friday, January 31. Grant will play a Patriots team coming off a 51-37 league loss to Peabody (Alexandria, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 6-15.
With the loss, Georgetown falls to 8-19 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Doyline (Doyline, LA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-16. Doyline lost 52-28 in their recent league bout against Castor (Castor, LA)
