North Carolina High School Basketball - Grimsley holds off Northwest Guilford

January 28, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27408

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Grimsley Whirlies basketball team scored a close 42-39 triumph over the Northwest Guilford Vikings.

The Whirlies (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Tigers go into the 4A Metro contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Ragsdale nipped Page (Greensboro, NC), 55-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings confront the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) in a 4A Metro contest, on Friday, January 31. Northwest Guilford will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record. The Nighthawks go into the contest with a 12-5 record after their 52-49 league win over Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
