Next, the Tigers encounter the Bells Panthers (Bells, TX) in a 3A Region II District 11 test, on Friday, January 31. Gunter will attempt to improve on its 28-3 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 23-9 record after their 54-39 league loss to Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX).

The Rams (2-20) will now prepare for their test against Howe (Howe, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region II District 11 test with a 3-23 record. In their last test, Howe was routed by Gunter (Gunter, TX), 69-23, in a league test.
