The Heritage Mountaineers basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Loudon Redskins to 20 in the Mountaineers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mountaineers now possess a 16-1 record. They play next when they host South-Doyle for a 3A District 5 game on Friday, January 31. Heritage will confront a Cherokees team coming off a 54-44 league loss to Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN). The Cherokees record now stands at 7-13.

With the loss, Loudon falls to 11-10 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Rhea County (Evensville, TN) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 29. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 13-7. Rhea County lost 51-41 in their recent league match against Cleveland (Cleveland, TN)
