The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX) and the host Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX), observed Highlands's basketball team overwhelm Lanier by a score of 48-22.

The Owls (16-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs come into the 5A Region IV District 27 challenge with a 14-20 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson trounced Edison (San Antonio, TX), 42-27, in a league bout.

With the loss, Lanier falls to 4-27 on the campaign. The Voks travel to Burbank (San Antonio, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A Region IV District 27 bout on Friday, January 31. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 19-12. Burbank won 93-33 in their recent league bout against Fox Tech (San Antonio, TX)
