In Tuesday's league test, the Sheridan Yellowjackets (Sheridan, AR) basketball squad trounced the host Hot Springs Trojans (Hot Springs, AR), by a score of 53-18.

Next, the Yellowjackets clash with the Pine Bluff Zebras (Pine Bluff, AR) in a 5A South test, on Friday, January 31. Sheridan will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Zebras come into the test with a 0-21 record after their 53-14 league loss to Lake Hamilton (Pearcy, AR).

The Trojans (1-17) will now prepare for their test against Benton (Benton, AR). The Panthers come into the 5A South test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Benton was routed by Lakeside (Hot Springs, AR), 57-44, in a league test.
