In Tuesday's non-league test, the Iroquois Redhawks (Elma, NY) basketball squad trounced the visiting Lackawanna Steelers (Lackawanna, NY), by a score of 80-29.
Next, the Redhawks encounter the Lake Shore Eagles (Angola, NY) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 30. Iroquois will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 5-1 record after their 52-30 non-league win over Mount Mercy Academy (Buffalo, NY).
The Steelers (2-6) will now prepare for their test against West Seneca East (West Seneca, NY). The Trojans come into the Section 6 Erie County II test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, West Seneca East bounced Cleveland Hill (Cheektowaga, NY), 75-34, in a non-league test.
