The Ladysmith Lumberjacks basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Spooner Rails to 29 in the Lumberjacks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lumberjacks now have a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Chetek-Weyerhaeuser for a Heart O'North game on Thursday, January 30. Ladysmith will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 47-18 league loss to St. Croix Falls (St. Croix Falls, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Spooner falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Rails travel to Cameron (Cameron, WI) to confront the Comets in a Heart O'North game on Friday, January 31. The Comets go into the game with a record of 14-2. Cameron won 79-22 in their recent league game against Ashland (Ashland, WI)
