The Utica Chieftains basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders to 28 in the Chieftains league triumph on Tuesday.

The Chieftains now possess a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Anchor Bay for a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. Utica will play a Tars team coming off a 41-26 league win over Cousino (Warren, MI). The Tars record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, L'Anse Creuse North falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Romeo (Romeo, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a Macomb Area - White game on Thursday, January 30. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 3-10. Romeo lost 37-35 in their recent non-league game against Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI)
