The Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves basketball team scored 95 points and limited the host Laporte Wildcats to 35 in the Wolves league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolves now have a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to Nevis for a A Section 5 game on Thursday, January 30. Walker-Hackensack-Akeley will confront a Tigers team coming off a 62-28 league loss to Pine River-Backus (Pine River, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, Laporte falls to 2-18 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Bertha-Hewitt (Bertha, MN) to confront the Bears in a A Section 5 game on Thursday, January 30. The Bears go into the game with a record of 14-4. Bertha-Hewitt lost 68-29 in their recent non-league game against Menahga (Menahga, MN)
