The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Laurens Academy Crusaders (Laurens, SC) and the visiting Oakbrook Prep Knights (Spartanburg, SC), observed Laurens Academy's basketball team knock off Oakbrook Prep by a score of 38-20.

The Crusaders (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Our Lady of the Rosary (Greenville, SC). The Lions come into the SCISA 2A Region IV challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Our Lady of the Rosary was knocked off by Oakbrook Prep (Spartanburg, SC), 52-34, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Oakbrook Prep will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 62-38 non-league win over Challenger (Hickory, NC).
