Nevada High School Basketball - Virgin Valley holds off Mater Academy East Las Vegas

The Virgin Valley Bulldogs basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights to 60 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 18-7 record. They play next when they travel to Pinecrest Academy Cadence for a 3A Southern - Desert game on Thursday, January 30. Virgin Valley will confront a Cougars team coming off a 60-27 league loss to Moapa Valley (Overton, NV). The Cougars record now stands at 8-14.

With the loss, Mater Academy East Las Vegas falls to 16-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Cristo Rey St. Viator (North Las Vegas, NV) to confront the Royals in a 3A Southern - Desert game on Thursday, January 30. The Royals go into the game with a record of 1-10. Cristo Rey St. Viator lost 23-18 in their recent league game against Chaparral (Las Vegas, NV)
