In Tuesday's league contest, the host West Trojans basketball team scored a big 56-28 triumph over the McGregor Bulldogs.
The Trojans (14-14) will now prepare for their contest against Frost (Frost, TX). The Polar Bears go into the non-league contest with a 23-8 record. In their last contest, Frost smashed Dawson (Dawson, TX), 69-33, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Clifton Cubs (Clifton, TX) in a 3A Region III District 17 contest, on Friday, January 31. McGregor will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record. The Cubs go into the contest with a 15-11 record after their 33-27 league win over Troy (Troy, TX).
