New York High School Basketball - Young Women's College Prep holds off Monroe

The Young Women's College Prep Griffins basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Monroe Red Jackets to 40 in the Griffins non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Griffins now possess a 12-1 record. They play next when they host Franklin for a non-league game on Thursday, January 30.
With the loss, Monroe falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Red jackets travel to Early College (Yonkers, NY) to confront the Sharks in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 29. The Sharks go into the game with a record of 0-3.
